Moving a Toolpath in the Solids Tree
Video 1 shows moving a toolpath in the solid tree to have that toolpath avoid a feature. As the toolpath is moved up the solid, it is able to see the solid without the features below it in the tree. When this is combined with Mastercams new ability to 'Find Holes', you can quickly have your surface toolpaths avoid holes without needing extra geometry.
Importing Levels
Video 2, here we're looking at a way to import commonly used levels. For the most part, if you create a template, you can avoid having to import a consistent set of levels, but if you have a variety of standard levels, or ones you use only in specific files, importing them can be a huge time saver. Bonus tip here, editing your levels naming in excel. Excel has many tools that can save time for working with the file type needed for level import. If you find you are fumbling with level naming in Mastercam, this could be another time saver.
