Let's talk about what's new in Mastercam 2022!

The release of Mastercam 2022 is just around the corner. We are hoping to see something in the first few weeks of June, fingers crossed.
Mastercam 2022 has a TON on new features and improvements, way too many to cover in a short video/blog like this but I'll do my best to cover the big ticket items. If you would like to review a Whats New doc before the release you can click here...
Whats New in Mastercam 2022

For us, since we specialize in the educational realm of Mastercam, we are most excited about the changes to the HLE (Home Learning Edition) version of Mastercam. For 2022, HLE will now receive updates, will have access to Mill-Turn, Blade Expert, Port Expert, and Probing. And that is just a sample of the improvements for HLE, stay tuned for more info there.

Also, no biggie but there's and entirely new TOOLBAR! This toolbar will give you all the tools you need to interact, modify, and edit STL files. This is valuable to the 3D printing market as well as those receiving model scans for perhaps reverse engineering.

Another feature, a new 5 Axis toolpath, sort of. Its a new interface that provides access to multiple 5 axis toolpaths with the ability to switch between them within the interface. This will be a huge deal for those looking to learn 5x, this should take a little steepness out of that learning curve!

There is a ton more on items to talk about here but not enough time or space to cover it all. More 2022 videos will be on the way, so keep an eye out!
