Have a look at this super secret screen in the Haas Control! In this video I'll show you how to access it and what it does!

The Haas Control is renowned for its user-friendly interface, making it a favorite among CNC machine operators. With its intuitive navigation and simple graphical interfaces, the Haas Control simplifies the operator's day, allowing for efficient and seamless operation.

One of the remarkable aspects of the Haas Control is its consistency across different machine types. Whether you're working on a mill or a lathe, the Haas control remains the same. Even if you were to compare a Haas control from 20 years ago to the one used today, you would find that they are essentially identical. Of course, there have been a few button changes and the introduction of the NextGen control with its enhanced functions, but overall, the Haas control has remained remarkably similar throughout the years.

However, despite its user-friendly nature, there are certain hidden screens in the Haas Control that many users may not be aware of. These screens cannot be accessed through the typical menu options, but in the video, I reveal a super secret screen that allows you to access the color chart. By accessing this screen, you can view all the available color options in the Haas Control and even change the color of the screen to your preference. All you need to do is input the corresponding number into setting 198, and the screen will transform into the color of your choice.

If you prefer not to access the secret screen, I have also provided a handy color chart that you can use as a reference. This chart displays all the available color options, making it easy for you to select the perfect color for your Haas Control.

To access the secret screen, follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings

2. Set Setting #7 to OFF

3. Press ALARM

4. Type DEBUG and press ENTER

5. Press PARAMETER

6. Press F4

7. Find your desired color and press RESET to exit the screen

8. Go to Settings

9. Set Setting #198 to the corresponding color number

10. Press ALARM

11. Type DEBUG and press ENTER

12. Go to Settings

13. Set Setting #7 to ON
