Watch This Before Upgrading to Mastercam 2023

6/8/22 5:08 PM / by camInstructor Mike

There is some new workflow in Mastercam 2023. I suggest you watch this video before you upgrade.

We all love the anticipation of new software updates, eagerly awaiting the moment we can dive into the exciting features and enhancements. It's like Christmas morning, unwrapping presents and discovering all the new goodies that await us!

However, with the release of Mastercam 2023, it feels like we may have received a new toy, but unfortunately, someone forgot to include the batteries! While there are certainly a lot of things to cover when it comes to the new features in Mastercam 2023, one particular aspect stands out – the new Machine Group Setup for the Mill and Router products. This update brings significant changes to the interface, and things may not be working as expected or connected as seamlessly as one would hope. It could very well be a case of not fully grasping the intricacies of this new setup, so I will keep this video open to updates as I continue to learn and discover more. Additionally, as future updates are rolled out and new elements are introduced, I will make sure to provide additional information by linking it here.

Rest assured that if anything changes with this new Machine Group Setup, I will promptly upload new videos and add the relevant links to this page. If you don't see any links, it simply means that the functionality remains unchanged for now.

So, if you're interested in delving deeper into the world of Mastercam and want to stay updated on the latest developments, be sure to check out the resources available on camInstructor. Whether you're a teacher, an independent learner, or a student, there is a wealth of knowledge waiting to be explored.

2023 was updated and problems were fixed, have a look at that video here...
